Well, we did it. We tried swearing at him, yelling at him, crying, and finally pleading with him. But to no avail.

And then we tried something noone had thought of before, we tried a bit of the ol' reverse psychology on him. Evidence 1 :

We managed to down the frosty bastard on our second night of real tries. We also managed to keep all the adds up and snag the bonus achievement!

We are now back on track with our 25man raids and Freya is the next target. Great job by everyone, lets keep this up!
